Leopard Nails by Sally Hansen Nail Effects

My love for nail art, leopard print, and drug store makeup all collided this weekend with a fun DIY project. It also just so happened that it was so cold out that the only option was to cozy up inside, spend probably too much time doing nails, and watching movies. These Sally Hansen Nail Effects Polish Strips are a clear rip on Minx and OPI's Chic Prints for Sephora, but they're cheaper and available at your friendly Duane Reade so I was sold. The application process was not as easy as I had hoped and I was skeptical of them even lasting through the weekend, but here I am 4 days later, still loving the perfect metallic leopard print. Next time I'll go for the denim print for a complete Texas tuxedo.

  4. I really love this. I feel so bad that my nails are to fragile for gel nails. I can't even polish them in a pretty colour because they break all the time. x

  6. Thanks Nikki,

They're actually not gel, it's more like a sticker for each nail. For fragile nails though, I recommend Nail Magic. It's a base or top coat that makes your nails hard and strong. It's how I grow my nails out.
