Prediction: Barbour for Non-Preps

I'm trying out a new segment where I predict styles or trends that I think are about to or should gain momentum. The first is Barbour jackets for non-preppy people. The waxed cotton jackets are already popular amongst Brits and proud East-coasters, but as Ashley Olsen shows they can look easygoing and cool coast to coast. At least I hope they do because I've been wearing one all winter.

    I second this prediction. I have a very similar style from Land's End (easier on the wallet) and I love it! Wish I could have an actualy Barbour one though...

    I've had a barbour jacket for maybe 15 years now, still going strong. Those tings are built to last! I bought mine a few sizes too big, and though I wish it was a tad less bulky, I still kind of love the way it feels so easy and effortless.

    While I do think the barbour jackets are absolutely adorable and should definitely become a new trend, I also think a new trend should be carrying three different types of water bottles around at all times...
