Sale Preview: Alexander Wang on The Outnet

Tomorrow several items that had permanent tabs dedicated to them on my browser (this is pre-Pinterest I'm talking about) hit The Outnet as a part of a massive Alexander Wang Sale. These three items in particular are favorites. I love the zip-around sweater because you can change it from oversized to cropped. The maroon draped sweater shows off Wang's subtle talent for sophisticated body-flattering design. And those jeans. There's something so unflattering and grungy that makes me absolutely need them. Fall Transition Item: Alexander Wang Suvi Boot

The abrupt arrival of fall weather caught me a bit off guard last week. I'm not complaining per se because I really do love layering, but I'm also not ready to give up open toes, bare legs and breezy dresses just yet. Luckily, I can hold on to at least one of those for a bit longer with my new Alexander Wang Suvi Ankle-Cuff Sandals. I wore them casually this weekend with a cozy sweater from J.Crew and Zara camo cargos and dressed them up for the premiere of "God Save My Shoes" with The Outnet during NYFW. The heft of the heel and bold leather upper make these the perfect transitional piece; tough enough for fall, while still showing off my pedicure.

Trend: Metal Belts

For about six months now I've been mulling over the idea of a metal belt. I love the unique, eye-catching look, but have been wavering because they can look a bit awkward. And sometimes worse. Like some medieval torture device for women. Discomfort aside, I think I am going to take the plunge with this Halston metal and leather belt. The mix of materials gives it a more modern flair while ensuring that it isn't terribly constricting. Thoughts on the look?
