Need: Aurelie Bidermann Wild West Taurus Jewelry

Buying Western-inspired jewelry new almost seems like a shame considering the extensive amount of beautiful vintage turquoise, tooled silver and concho pieces available. Almost. Aurelie Bidermann's "Wild West" Taurus collection gives us good reason to stick to current pieces. The beautifully crafted bulls heads stand alone as statement earrings or a cocktail ring and adds weight to an intricately detailed choker.  The overall feeling is modern, never costumey.

Stella McCartney Spring 2012-Inspired Nails

Here they are--mostly because I would hate to miss a season of Stella McCartney. I didn't love this collection when I first saw the images from the runway, but after seeing countless versions work the red carpet it grew on me. As always Stella knows how to dress the ultimate modern woman. For my nails, I started with a white base then created blue and red polkadots with black centers. I tried to get the look of the cutouts and white details on top of the dots. Time to move onto Pre-Fall looks!

Into Now: 6.1.12

For the past 25 years I have hated paisley, but suddenly with Memorial Day behind us it feels fresh and fun for summer. These Citizens of Humanity jeans are a subdued take on the omnipresent printed jeans trend and J.Crew's version looks almost like a bandana print--perfect for backyard BBQs or chic gardening (my next plant will be a split-leaf philodendron). It is important to pair this print with bright colors like these leather espadrilles to avoid looking frumpy.
