Proenza Schouler Spring 2011 Campaign Nails

My latest nail project was inspired by Proenza Schouler's Spring 2011 Campaign staring Melissa Tammerijn and Julia Nobis and shot by Willy Vanderperre. I love how textural this image is, but since that doesn't play well in nail polish, I tried to capture the milky quality instead. For the base I used one coat of Essie Haute as Hello, then to mute the color, I used a thin layer of Knockout's Powder on top.

Absolutely beautiful top color. I'm kind of addicted to nail polish! I always tell myself I have enough colors, but then a new one pops up! This is a must have for spring. xo

Even though I've seen orange nail polish all over the blogosphere lately: I still absolutely love it!
