Since high school I have worn the same delicate gold bracelet on my right wrist (you can see it here, here and here) and as such I have long since forgotten who designed the thing. It wouldn't much matter except that at least once a week I get asked where I bought it. A few weeks ago a woman literally stopped me mid-yoga class to inquire about it as a gift for her sister. Well, thanks to an anonymous commenter on my Refinery29 Wrist Wear post, I now know that it is by jewelry designer Jane Hollinger. Isn't that one of the beautiful things about blogs? Need: Giles & Brother Archer Cuff

The clean lines on this beautiful Giles & Brother cuff make it a must-have. I usually favor daintier pieces, but this has enough heft to stand out without being a "statement piece." Fall's chunky knits and long sleeves tend to call for chunkier pieces. It doesn't hurt that the interlocking rings bring to mind Celine's knot bracelet either.

Need: Zara Patchwork Sandal

In honor of Zara's US online shop launching today, I have picked out my favorite item available now. The sad, sad irony is that Zara's shoes rarely fit me. They are often too small and I'm *only* a 40. If these metallic wonders did fit me, I wouldn't want to take them off. And in that uniquely Zara way, they draw inspiration from so many places, it actually makes them unique. How's that for originality?

Fall Shopping Vol. 1

For fall, I'm all about the subtle asymmetry of this Ann Taylor skirt. I can see dressing it up for the office and down for a weekend look. A chunky sweater and sleek booties sort of make it work for both occasions. I find this look so flattering and versatile, for $88 I'd even go into an Ann Taylor.

Surprisingly Good: Michael Kors Jewelry

It's a little derivative, but totally cute and very reasonably priced. The gold cuff is the most expensive at $125, which almost leaves you room to buy one for each wrist. I think these would fit in quite nicely with the rest of my imaginary jewelry collection.

Trend: Every Ring

I am 100% on board with the recent trend I've been seeing of women wearing identical rings across all four or five of their fingers. It is a big challenge to wear a lot of jewelry and still look sleek, but this style manages to do that. There's also just something badass about it that reminds you of brass knuckles.

Cage Jewerly by Gaia Repossi and Dominic Jones

My love for simple gold jewelry knows no bounds. Instead it seems to constantly grow. Lately I have been enamored with the cage-style jewelry I've been seeing from Gaia Repossi and Dominic Jones. I have a great affinity for unadorned gold jewelry, but sometimes it can feel a bit plain. These pieces are the perfect antidote to that problem. As statement pieces, they have a sort of lightness with their weight and while the cage motif is certainly and old one, the clean minimalist lines make them feel very modern.

Spring Shopping Vol. 1

I have had the hardest time getting dressed ever since the technical transition to spring. One reason it has been challenging is because the weather has not really followed suit. The other is that lately I've been finding everything in my closet a bore. Pieces are either too shapeless, too worn out, or just don't feel fresh and fun to put on. To solve this, I am trying to put together looks that I would actually wear. This isn't expert market work, but it is pretty close to my mix of arty, crafty, with a modern twist that I would absolutely wear on a weekend day.

Vena Cava Fall 2011 Accessories

Every season, I'm excited to see which version of '90s cool girl Vena Cava creates. The slinky, sexy art house student that they created for Fall 2011 was spot on, but I really can't resist the accessories.
