This could be it.
I also created a new Pinterest board for my favorite bags for fall.

Baggu Bright Leather Bags
As a huge Baggu devotee and a sucker for anything brightly colored, the new leather totes and pouches by the Brooklyn-based company are calling my name. I'm thinking the medium tote (top) in grapefruit (middle) will be very hard to resist. Plus, as someone saving up for a very well-known satchel I don't mind supplementing my collection with a simple bag that can stand on its own in any closet.

Thomas IV Bags
I just discovered Thomas IV handbags and am immediately obsessed. The bags blend decoration and functionality, creativity and luxury seamlessly. They seem like exactly the kind of bag I would see on someone else and fanatically hunt down across the internet. Good thing I found it first.

Crazy Fashion Trend: Handbags
Every Fashion Week brings us new trends, some wearable, some not so much. My favorite are those little styling tricks that seem small at the time, but result in major trends within the fashion world and nowhere else. Last year it was coats worn as capes, arms out of the sleeves. This year, I'm predicting not only handbags carried as clutches, but handbags carried with one handle looped through the other like at Bottega Veneta's Fall 2011 show. Luckily you don't have to wait, Alexander Wang has a bag in stores right now, the Alpha Combo Shopper, built around that entire concept. Loop the long handle through the short for an over-the-shoulder bag, loop the short handle through the hole for a tote. Needless to say, I'm all for it.

Botkier Spring Summer 2011 Lookbook
I'm probably a bit biased, but I'm in love with the Botkier Spring Summer 2011 collection. The bags look chicer than ever--standout favorites are the white zippered Howard satchel (the leather looks pristine) and the white croc Charlotte clutch--and the tooled leather shoes are to die for, the perfect mix of vintage and modern that I can't resist. This lookbook also goes to show just how important good styling is. Everything looks cohesive, chic, and aspirational, but accessible. Nicely done!

Need: H&M SPring 2011 Canvas Leather Tote
I am obsessed with this tote from H&M's Spring 2011 collection. The simplicity, the modernity, the faux-Celine wannabe glamour.

Rachel Comey Hiking-Inspired Bags
Rachel Comey Barbells Backpack, Rachel Comey Puddle Drop Backpack, Rachel Comey Tarpalin Weave Utility Clutch, Rachel Comey Barbells Utility Clutch
I am 100% smitten over these Rachel Comey bags. The hiking-inspired shapes designs gained a lot of attention when she showed them in her Spring/Summer 2010 show and they've finally hit stores. I have a major soft spot for anything that involves hiking shapes, fabrics, or styling because I grew up going on hikes nearly every weekend and spending vacations camping. When I was little I sort of hated it, but now I appreciate how awesome it was and really miss it being in New York. A lot of the gear we used were things either passed down from my grandparents or that my parents had used when they were young, meaning everything was perfectly '70s and retro. I made them keep as much of it as possible, but it isn't really wearable in the every day. These bags make it possible, which is why they are top of the list for my summer must-haves.
