Polished Nail Art

In case somehow you missed it, you should probably watch my new nail show on Look TV. I've gone ahead and pulled each look out separately so that you can choose between Dior, Altuzarra and Chanel.

Prediction: Look Ma, No Hands

One trend that I've been thinking about for a little while and noticed quite a few times at Fashion Week was a conspicuous lack of purses. Stylish ladies are forgoing carryalls in favor of the just the bare essentials carried casually in their pockets or in a belt pouch (chic fanny pack anyone?). Jenna Lyons carried just her keys on her belt loop and Amber Venz accessorized with an adorable Chanel belt.

I like the Givenchy's necklace version of the pouch. Although I can't get on board with a Blackberry holder, it's 2012. DVF also serves up a minimalist modern belt that would look very cool on a girl with no hips. Chanel and Mulberry have great options as well.

Chanel Spring 2012-Inspired Nails

I simply could not resist these Kiss Nail Dress stickers when I saw them at the drugstore. The little raised pearlescent bubbles reminded me of the actual pearls applied to the models' skin at Chanel 2012. Can you imagine if Peter Philips tried his hand at nail art? That would be amazing.

Versus Versace Fall 2011-Inspired Nails

On an impulse the other day, I ran over to Bloomingdale's after work and picked up a few new bottles of polish including Chanel's Graphite. When it comes to metallic polishes, you cannot do better than Chanel. Their colors are so multifaceted it blows my mind every time. In my excitement, I had to find a collection to suit my new glittery, slightly edgy goodness and Versus Versace's Fall 2011 show hit all the right marks. I mixed up the base layer of Graphite with a couple of Nubar's polishes for variety and used painter tape as a guide to get extra-clean lines.

In the photos I am wearing my collection of rings, a Gorjana necklace, H&M sweater and have my favorite Power Support Tibi iPhone case.
